Great for 1st year engineering PhD student

I have been searching for an app like this to manage small notes, questions, thoughts, etc, when a notepad didn’t feel sufficiently organized. This app is great! It’s not over engineered and it’s simple to use. And there is no paywall or ads! THANK GOD! I will definitely be purchasing the cloud storage soon. Thank you so much <3 I’m so glad this is part of my workflow

This app has been a fave for years!

I’ve had this journal for about 2 years now and it has become a FIXTURE of my everyday survival! It just keeps getting better with each update! Thank you!

Big fan of this app

I love this app. I used to use a Discord DM with a bot just to quickly save notes, links and other things that I wanted to review later. But Discord is A) not E2E encrypted; and B) has a terrible search UX, no categorization, and so on. I’ve been using this app for over a year and it’s my favorite thing for collecting those notes, links, images – whatever it is that I want to save or briefly write a note about.

Great for alternative workflow

Really liking the approach to this. Might be my new main driver. Some them customization would be great though. I use dark mode, and the colors scheme just makes everything kind of wash away into a giant text blob. At least being able to adjust the tag colorization would be helpful as the grey on black is basically invisible

excellent idea, but needs a few more features

This is basically a messaging chat you can have going with just yourself. I think it makes a pretty great little home base for things you need to quickly jot down to act on and file properly later. Voice memos seems like an obvious feature it’s missing, and the Mac app is a bit bare bones. Small note, but the icon is kind of goofy and weird looking.
